About Us

Emperor Looms connects families of skilled Afghan artisans with clients who value true craftsmanship. The company believes that a rug is more than a furnishing. It is a statement of taste, heritage, and responsible luxury.

Emperor Looms’ story is rooted in the journey of Ali Seena, whose family has been part of Afghanistan’s rug-making tradition for generations. After seeking refuge in Pakistan during the Afghan civil war, Ali Seena’s father and uncles began weaving rugs at home to support the family. Their dedication eventually led to the establishment of Aria Super Carpet Manufacturing Company in Kabul; a workshop known for its quality, authenticity, and commitment to traditional weaving.

While this heritage forms the foundation, Emperor Looms itself was born in the United States, created by Ali Seena to bring his family’s craftsmanship to a global audience. The brand builds on decades of experience, bridging Afghan artisan skill with modern design sensibilities and the expectations of a luxury market.

By working directly with weaving families and maintaining ethical, transparent production, Emperor Looms ensures that every rug carries both the legacy of its origins and the refinement expected in contemporary homes.
